Let us help you craft your event.
Welcome to our private 2nd-floor event space, The Loft at Young Lion.
Please note: YLBC does not provide food servers,
Drop Off Service from a caterer is not an option for private events.
YLBC does not work with caterers outside our list.
Due to the heavy increase in traffic to the lake on these weekends, we do not book any private events.
I would like to come in and view the space, do I need an appointment to do so?
Yes, it is always required that you have an appointment with us ahead of time. There is a link at the top of this page to a 3D virtual tour of the second floor. Please fill out the inquiry form on our events page below and we will get you in as soon as possible. Please Note: We try to respond as quickly as possible to all emails and inquiries. It may take us a couple of days to respond during the peek season months. If you do not see a response within 72 hours please also check your spam/junk email.
How do I secure my event date?
We work on a first come first serve basis and cannot guarantee the desired booking date. No event is considered booked until we receive the non-refundable $1000 deposit and signed contract. The first payment is a non-refundable retainer of $1000 that is applied to the facility fee. At a minimum, Client agrees that the retainer fee fairly compensates YLBC for committing to provide the Services and turning down other potential projects/clients. We use an online client relations system called Honey Book with built-in brochures, proposals and contracts. A valid credit card must be on file for all events.
Is there a minimum and max head count to rent the 2nd floor loft?
We have a 40 person minimum and we can seat up to 100 people for seated receptions and up to 140 for cocktail-style receptions at full capacity.

"We wanted to feature the Finger Lakes as part of our wedding weekend and Young Lion was the perfect venue for our rehearsal dinner. We loved the beautiful view of the lake. Our guests kept talking about how wonderful it was, even in unseasonably cold and rainy weather. We also loved working with Tanya - she was so organized and on top of everything. She responded to emails insanely fast and was incredibly cooperative and helpful through all the changes of the pandemic."
"Very pleased with the venue space and aesthetics, the bar, the sound set up, and with the thorough communication from Young Lion event staff! Can’t wait to have another reason to have a party there!"
"The loft at Young Lion is a perfect location for any social event. The service is exceptional and the space is one of the most beautiful in the region. You will truly enjoy your experience here."

With over 16 years of experience in the Food & Beverage Industry, I have developed my skills in event sales, catering, management, and restaurant marketing. Hey, I'm Allee, and I'm so excited to step into this role at Young Lion as your Day-of-Event Team Leader. I've been with Young Lion since its inception 4 years ago. If you’ve been to our brewery on the weekend, you have probably seen me in the Taproom or The Loft for Private Events bartending. I will be your main point of contact the day of your event, working with Tanya as we lead up to the big day. When I'm not filling glass, I'm selling it in my full-time role as a Sales Rep for Rochester Insulated Glass. In my spare time, I train and compete in Olympic Weightlifting.
