Our Story
From Humble Beginnings to Award-Winning Brewery
The Young Lion Brewing story begins with two friends sharing a passion for incredible beer. Our journey started as a simple idea dreamed up in a Rochester bar, which grew into an unwavering vision.
In 2017, we proudly opened the doors to our Woman-Owned and Managed brewery on the picturesque northern shore of Canandaigua Lake in the Finger Lakes region of Upstate New York.
Today, Young Lion operates an expansive 10,000-barrel production brewery, a welcoming 1,000-square-foot taproom, and a versatile 2,400-square-foot event space ideal for weddings, rehearsal dinners, corporate events, and more.
As one of the largest microbreweries in New York, we distribute our award-winning craft beers across Western NY through our partnership with Wright Beverage.
